Please never purchase a dog without meeting the breeder and visiting the conditions in which both parents and the puppies live in. This report from the Humane Society of the US highlights the worst of Missouri’s puppy mills – and get this – they’re all licensed by the USDA the state or both! So…just because someone has a license, don’t assume they’re safe to purchase a pet from. Always look into ADOPTION first!
