Thanks to ThrillistI came across these awesome bags made from old truck tarps and outdoor vinyl billboards. What a great way to use something that would otherwise end up in the landfill! They’re made locally – in Evanston (just outside Chicago) which is also pretty cool for Chicagoans. I’m a pretty basic girl so I prefer the styles without print – solid colors are more my thing. I didn’t see a women’s handbag style that I was crazy about but I do really like their truck tarp bags- the duffles and trippers are super cool.
I’m loving these reusable tote bags – the art work is delicate and vintage-ish. Super cute!

I’m loving my new Green Bag Tag from CVS! What a brilliant idea! There is a CVS across the street from my home and office so I’m a frequent shopper there. For just $1 I purchased my GBT. Each time I shop and either use a re-usable bag or no bag at all, they scan my Extra Care card and then my GBT. After 4 visits I get $1 cash back coupon to use on my next purchase! The actual tag is even made from a corn based material. I know it is somewhat of a hassle to have to lug around one more card to scan but you could attach to it your key ring or loop it through the handle of your reusable bag.
I’m in love with my new Flip & Tumble reusable shopping bag! It’s super cute – hot pink and rolls up into a neat little ball. It is so much easier to pack back up – just slide your fingers into the pouch, crumple the bag up into it and flip the top over and there you go! SO much easier than the old bag I had that required folding!
